Announcing the Day Lily Research Fund

I’m delighted to share something that’s been on our hearts for a long time. Beginning this year, Day Lily Education is launching the Day Lily Research Fund — a way to come alongside Christian scientists and scholars with grants, resources, and encouragement.

Day Lily is, first and foremost, a teaching community. We don’t run laboratories of our own. But our love of learning has never stopped at the edge of our own classrooms, and neither has our conviction that all truth is God’s truth.

Why we’re doing this

Over the years, we’ve met so many faithful believers doing careful, honest research — in biology, history, astronomy, medicine, and more — who simply needed a bit of help: funds for equipment or materials, access to resources, or just the encouragement of a community that believes in the work. We’ve long wished we could do more for them. Now we can.

What the Fund offers

• Modest, need-attentive research grants
• Access to library resources and scholarly tools
• Connections to mentors and fellow Christian scholars
• A community that prays for its researchers and celebrates faithful work
